I agree.  I think family's anxiety may be more of an "issue".  Jayne
describes a baby who is happy to go to breast, not one who is upset by a
sudden drop in supply or flow.  It is NORMAL for weight gain to occur in
"fits and starts" at this age.  I believe it is impossible to determine a
mother's supply by one test weight after a single feeding.  It can serve to
increase anxiety.

I agree with Heather's post.  Don't make a big issue of it. Let the baby
drive and tell us what he/she needs.  Babies are very good at that!

To reassure mom, consider a weight check in a MONTH.  Baby will let us know
if he is starving before then and we can intervene if necessary.
