Let me start by saying that I did not wake up today intending to beat a dead horse, but... Along with scores of other LC's everywhere I am faced once again with the challenge to "justify my position" I have searched the archives and I did get a lot of information, and I cannot spend anymore time researching (since I can't make a dollar sitting at my computer). I know a lot of people hope to charge someday, and many have decided not to charge after investigating, but PLEASE... there MUST be LC's out there who work in hospitals that are charging for their inpatient services.
 (typed with fingers crossed, hoping)

I will spare you all the details of my particular situation, however I have a simple question. Please e-mail me privately:

Does anyone bill for inpatient LC consults?

Thank you

Pam Price IBCLC, RLC, LPN

... terribly saddened... I am not an administrative assistant, or salesperson, or financial whiz, I am a lactation consultant and I just want to keep helping mom's and babies. But all the letters of thanks and praise to the powers that be add up to ZERO in the finance office so in the end...
