Jean, I thought your comments about how babies are fed (and not just what
they are fed) can influence later weight problems were brilliant. I share
your impression that many bottlefed babies have the milk flowing much too
quickly. And even though most nurses and HCP's tell mothers not to feed the
baby more than it wants, I see the vast majority of mothers coaxing that
last ounce or two or three out of the bottle and into the baby.
