I have been battling severe recurrent mastitis and have had a positive MRSA
swab.  My doctors (both PCP and infectious disease) are unfamiliar with
breastfeeding and are pressuring me to wean.  They're reluctant to treat for
MRSA and have never heard of culturing breastmilk.  I'd like input and
especially links to sources that support continued breastfeeding during
mastitis treatment as well as MRSA / mastitis treatment protocols.  I have
the WHO policy statement on mastitis and am in need of similar resources.
