I thought I read that it was in the same FAMILY as
peanuts (and chickpeas) so would therefore be
something to be wary of, as people allergic to one of
these can be allergic to more from the same family...
Not sure though.

I am wondering why it is that babies don't supposedly
get "colds" for 3 months. I know that babies are
supposed to get antibodies from Mom before
delivery...but what if Mom hasn't had that particular
cold? She wouldn't be immune to that virus, then.

I am perhaps missing something here that I don't know
well enough (about biology), but when my DD was 6
weeks old, the whole family came down with a
cold...myself included, and she was as sick as the
rest of us. Drippy/stuffy nose, coughing a lot and
sneezing. About 3 days after mine was done, she was
well again too. No dietary changes made.

Myra.
