I am working with an adopted mother. The baby is now 3 months old -
she began breastfeeding when the baby was almost 6 weeks of age. Baby
latched on right away and has a good suck. Baby enjoys nursing and will not
even take a bottle now.

Mother has breastfed two natural children. Mother has been using
SNS for every feeding. Breasts have increased 1 cup size. They feel
heavier, fuller, and have tingling sensations. Mother has not seen any
evidence of milk.

Questions: Besides pumping is there anything else she can do?
What time frame have you seen for milk flow to
being in adopting mothers?

TIA for all your help

Mother is grateful to be able to nurse even if there is no milk but would
love to help her more.
