Dear Lactnet Friends:

Some of the exam requirements are true for hospital practice in the US:

   - Basic life support (for example, CPR)
   - Medical documentation
   - Medical terminology
   - Occupational safety and security for health professionals
   - Professional ethics for health professionals (for example, the IBLCE
   Code of Ethics)
   - Universal safety precautions and infection control

Are they required in other countries? If so, are they required for hospital
staff? All health workers? Nurses only?

warmly,
