A few times I have encountered a situation in which the baby will spit up breast milk, but not one of those super-sensitive formulas such as Alimentum (Corn syrup!  Now with vitamins!  Yay!).  In one situation, the baby would spit up when his mother nursed him, but not when his father gave him a bottle of her milk.  They switched to Alimentum which the baby did not spit up.

Why would it happen that a baby will spit up his mother's milk but not this formula?  What might be going on?
