Hand expression is a great option, so is using a pump differently, and 
having her doctor see her to potentially treat the eczema. I would 
beware of vegetable oil, it could knock off the vitamin E/PUFA ratio of 
breast milk, which is so important to human babies. Perhaps a synthetic 
lubricant may be useful. Perhaps someone on Lactnet has info on one that 
is safe.
