In a case of the runaway freight train as I call oversupply in the level
this woman is dealing with (44 oz pumped) if these methods don't work
gradual reduction in pumping volume
"overuse" of cabbage leaves alternated with frozen pampers for 15 mins q1-2 hrs
possible antihistamine use

I would definately refer her to ob for pituitary evaluation for tumors etc
(refer to Randall Craig MD Arizona ILCA 1993 are you out their Dr Craig
????)
ON a couple of cases my OB's have used Combined Oral contraceptives to supress
supply to a manageable level, or one of the rare uses for Parlodel today a
little bit of Parlodel has worked if the underlying pituitary has been
given a clean bill of health. I also have used the BLiss for a mom who
can't even go to the grocery store without being soaked BUT ONLY when she
needs to go out NOT ALL
the time, this is a mom at risk for repeated chronic mastitis. Good Luck
be sure to update us and don't forget to refer to a milk bank if she likes
having alot of milk !!!!!
