I wrote about this concept in "Coach's Notebook: Games and Strategies for
Breastfeeding Education," published by Jones & Bartlett. 

I saw a diagram of the size of a baby's stomach that a LLL Leader drew back
in the mid-80's, and "ran with the concept." I don't remember her name, but
she lived in or near Newport News, VA.
