If the pressure is there to do so, then it will happen.
I know there are a few high profile medical journals that have
instituted policies about what they will publish and that
all funding sources have to be stated when the article is
submitted. I don't know the details, but a review of journal
policies on this issue would make a great article.
Anyone have some time on their hands? Submission guidelines
aren't hard to come by, most of them are on the web. I'd
be happy to collaborate with someone if anyone is interested.
