ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Jan,

Might I quote you and may I second your comment. Anyone care to help me
compose a letter to AAP requesting a correction/addendum to their news
release so that it reflects what Dr. Gartner and others state in the policy?
As Media Watch coord for our lactation consortium I already am in contact
with Dr Gartner re his work trying to change marketing of the AAP
Breastfeeding Book and Ross Labs, so I'd be willing to coordinate a letter
(s) regarding the Vit D issue- honestly just sending them a cover letter and
Cynthia's excellent Mothering article on the subject might be enough.

I just think that once again the public has to know the truth (as you put it,
Jan). Frankly I'm getting mighty tired of correcting misinformation in BF
class, and mother contacts caused by the health care system.
