Hi everyone - my working client's childminder has "complained" that her EBM
is more yellow than usual. The baby is 10 months and has been gripey and
windy for about a week. A check-up with the doctor yesterday found nothing.
Mom has recently started taking Berocca effervescent tablets and wonders if
these are causing the baby to be colicky. They contain:

Vit B1 15 mg
Vit B2 15 mg
Vit B6 10 mg
Vit B 12 10 mcg
nicotinamide 50 mg
calcium-d-pantothenate 25 mg
biotin 0,15 mg
Vit C 1000 mg
calcium carbonate 156,25 mg
calcium glycerophosphate 372,81 mg

The package insert says that this supplement is indicated during lactation
and that the urine may be yellow because of the Vit B 1 content. Could any
of the ingredients passing into the breastmilk cause the baby to be colicky
and irritable? Thanks for any info.
