Hi Gonneke,
I was also considering how this study might be extrapolated to Australia. My
understanding however, if that you really need to have similar under 1
mortality rates and similar breastfeeding rates to be able to do this. We
have similar mortality rates (a little lower) but our breastfeeding rates
are very, very different so it is difficult to do. There may be other
factors that need to be considered, I'm no expert on this sort of thing.
