What on earth does she mean by this??? Did she want you to give her
'permission' to 'give up'?
She may have felt better  before because she had no idea how bad she was
actually doing, and you were trying to rescue her for a worse case senario!

  "She is still bleeding."........................and so are you now!

And you know what...what goes around comes around!
