Interesting situation:

Mom Has ITP (idiopathic Thrombocytopenia)  or  a low platelet count
Mom was diagnosed with this prior to giving birth,

Infant now has been diagnosed with same.  Doctor wants to know if
breastfeeding could have played any contributing role in this.  I believe
baby is just a few weeks old.  I am asking this question for a
nursePractitioner friend of mine.
