Wonderful points, Carla, about teaching cup feeding over the phone.  How
about spoon feeding (smaller volumes) if that is viewed as unsafe.

As far as "techniques" goes, I also ask babies to keep their tongues
under the rim of the cup as it makes for more efficient feeding and dont
we want their tongues cupped?  How can they do that by lapping, I
wonder.
