Hi everyone,

Does any one of you have had experience (personal or professional) with food
poisoning while breastfeeding? A mother of a 3-month-old boy (her 3rd child)
thinks she got poisoned by Buffalo wings and her baby, who is usually of the
happy sort, started crying (following breastfeeding) as if he had colics or an
upset stomach about one hour after the mother ate the food.

The mother also had an upset stomach, and diarrhea followed. When a
breastfeeding mother is a victim of food poisoning, is it OK for her to
continue breastfeeding? Your input on this will be valuable to me. Thanks.
