I recieved this question and feeling very unqualified to direct her I told
her that I would post it here. Does anyone have information or even
thoughts on this? I am still waiting to get more info on her breastfeeding
and/or pumping routines.

>>snip<<I am an RN, my husband is an MD and has done extensive research into
the topic of dairy products and the diseases that they carry. Unfortunately
we are encountering a problem here. My niece gave birth a month ago. She
was air lifted to a trauma center last night as she had hemorrhaged. She
received several units of blood. Our family is not sure about receiving
blood from an unknown source. We aren't sure that it is all that safe.
But, there didn't seem to be a choice. Her Hct was 5.9. Now she is
concerned about her babies welfare. Do you have any further information
readily available. <<snip>>

Thanks in advance,
