Hello,
Today a wonderful young navy pediatrician gave a presentation about tongue ties at our health department, and several (older!) local pediatricians attended- yay!  There was a question which I believe blind-sided her a bit- it was "what if the mother has a breast infection?  Can she nurse the baby on that breast immediately after the clipping?"  She wavered and then said she might suggest pumping just to be safe...but I don't believe this would be necessary at all.  Your thoughts?
