Just got a shipment (unrequested and unordered!) of "romance novels".  This
is really not my genre at all, although I do read the beginnings and endings!
This one particular novel ("Body and Soul" by Charlotte Lamb) has the heroine
deliver her baby girl at the end of the book, happy reunion with the father
who she's been mad at all through the book (par for the course for this type
of "literature"). Baby is put to the breast (nipple, actually) and mom
switches sides "after the requisite time" (unspecified by the author).Father
watches with "fascination" as baby nurses and comments that she's greedy. Mom
fondly calls the baby "little pig". Baby's small hand smacks rhythmically on
Mom's "warm, white breast". Suddenly, in a husky voice, father wonders what
it tastes like and proceeds to find out! Mom decides she likes what Dad is
doing! Dad asks her how long one breastfeeds for (!) "'Months," she said'  "
.
Looks like this mom will have a twin size milk supply!Thoughts, anyone?
