I believe the information on mother-baby temperatures can be found in Gene
Cranston Anderson's articles or Sue Luddington Hoe.  It was a factoid that
showed up in connection with some K-care research.  They decided to also
monitor mom's temp and found that if baby's temp went down, mom's temp went
up, leveled off when baby's temp came up and then mom's temp returned to
normal.
