Laurie Wheeler, I agree with you. Morrison et al. replicated their work and
discovered that the new mom is interrupted an average of 53 or 54 times in
12 hours on postpartum day 1.

How in the world would this be tolerated on a honeymooon?

Answer: it wouldn't be. It isn't.

A babymoon should not be interrupted either. No way she'll stay undressed
when someone is coming into her room every 15 minutes.
