Obviously (I thought) I was speaking of non-religious circumcision.
There are people inside the jewish community who are discussing this
issue, but I leave that discussion to them.

Fear of offending members of religions which practice ritual
circumcision is not a good enough reason for not educating everyone
else.

If there is no avoiding it, I would prefer that a circumcision be timed
so that there will be less chance of it interfering with breastfeeding,
but I still think that should be the second line of defense.
