I have breastfed 5 children for many years each including tandum nursing of
 three sets of children.

I am now 44 and breastfeeding baby #6 (he is 21/2). My milk supply is
very low and believe me I am getting frequent stimulation.

I know my hormones are changing as my peroids have become irregular and I'm
having other symptoms as well. I also have experienced breast involution. Are
these changes related to hormone changes or have my breast just decided
they've nursed long enough?.

It is reported that grandmothers in othe cultures breastfeed their
grandchildren. Are these young grandmothers?

I am interested in information in breastfeeding during the perimenapausal
peroid . As more women in their 40's are having children I wonder if we will
find more breastfeeding problems.Looking forward to hearing other
experiences.
