It sounds as though everyone is keen to help, and encouraging....but
has anyone thought that 'less is more'?  It sounds as if the baby has
been tried maybe half a dozen times in less than 12 hours, and has
already had formula....that's a lot of intervention, and some of it
may be not as 'light-handed' as it should be. Snuggle the baby in bed
with mum, with skin to skin, and let the baby set the pace. Unless
there are signs of dehydration or anything else, he surely doesn't
need formula - mum can hand express colostrum and give this, instead,
if it's helpful.
