Kathy, I don't think it is a good thing.  In the minds of pediatricians and
other health professionals, at least the way I've seen it, the two have
nothing to do with one another.  You need special formula for children to 3
but breastfeeding even to 6 weeks is more than enough.  Furthermore, it
makes formula sound even more special.  And women are dependent on the
companies until their children are 3 years old instead of 1 year.
