Dear Christina Costa,

As a result of what you had to say, my friend has taken his article on
pacifiers and SIDS down off the internet! Thank you so much.

I have raised the issue with the parenting mag I write for as well, and
have offered to do an article on it in the new year. So I can use as
much help as you all can give. My main question is, "How many
variables are there (more or less) and how many of them were
addressed by the AAP and the source in the UK?"

Thanks lots,
Pat (Cape Town, SA)
