Hello all.

The change is official. Lactnet is now running on a computer in
Massachusetts at the Univ of Mass. Medical School.

The people there have been very kind to us, and we are thrilled to be here.!

To write a command to the computer, for instance, to change to NO MAIL when
you leave for vacation, write to the LISTSERV address at
[log in to unmask]

Remember, the above listserv address is a computer, not a person. You will
be receiving a copy of the "welcome" note from UMMED with simple commands
...you should KEEP this as you will need it if you want to go NOMAIL, or
unsubscribe, etc.

To write a note to all the Lactnet participants at this time..use the
following address:

[log in to unmask]

This is the place you write to in order to get a message accepted and disbursed.

If you have a friend who would like to subscribe to LACTNET, have them write
to :
[log in to unmask]  Blank Subject. (it's a computer)

In main body of message, type SUBSCRIBE LACTNET firstname lastname
They should put proper first and last name in where appropriate.
