About white tongues:

You are correct. When someone is getting sick, Doctors should, (I do) look at
the persons tongue. It should be pink healthy looking. When my daughters
tongue got a white coating on it, I would know we were heading for a
virus/sickness. Sure enough next two days she would come down with
something. Tongues should be a nice heathly pink color. Dentist usually
check this at any 6 month check up. It is part of any routine physical. Or it
SHOULD be. I am gonna watch those singers on american idol and see if i see
any white tongues. A whiteish film on an adult is a cause for a more indepth
look at vitamins / minerals they are lacking. Or they are either getting sick or
getting over something usually viral. My experience anyway. For what its
worth, a good physician still makes you say aahhhh!
