Katie,

I absolutely agree with you.  We do not know which babies will have a
problem, so we must make all mothers aware of the possibility of future
problems.  Maybe it will be only one bottle and the baby will bulk (sp) at
the breast or have difficulty with latch-on.
I had a Mom whose baby was 9 weeks old never had a bottle nor any problems
with breastfeeding. She decided to give the baby a bottle and the baby
refused the breast the next feeding.
