I suggest that it be a matter of routine protocol to present
this option to grieving mothers. Not only are some mothers
hesitant to bring it up, but many mothers are not even aware
that it is an option and would be very open to hearing
about it and thinking about it.

I think that in some places it is mandated that hcps bring
up the option of donating organs whenever someone has died
(babies, kids and adults) While it is not mandated that
milk donation be discussed, it seems a very good idea, in
the neutral way that Winnie suggested.
