Dear Friends:
    There are very few instances where I use gloves in a consult. If I have a
cut or some lesion on my hands, which I point out to the client, I glove. If
I need to go into a baby's mouth (which I rarely do, because the shape of the
nipple in the split second before it comes out of the baby's mouth tells me a
lot), I use a finger cot.
