Anyone have any experience with a mom testing pos. for THC during pregnancy
and being
forbidden from breastfeeding until levels decline? Is this at the descretion
of the state, county, or
individual agency?

There is (unfortuneately) no evidence at present that maternal THC does any
damage to babies. Theoretically a psychotropic drug may affect the development
of the brain, but no data exists. Unless the state, county or local child
protective services are going to take the infant away from the mother, there is
no way they can stop her from breastfeeding, nor should they. We need to look
at the risk vs the benefits.

We counsel our Moms and recommend they refrain from using marijuana because
of the unknown effects on their infant's developing brain, but we do not
"forbid" her from breastfeeding. It is her decision.
