If the mother has oversupply on the one breast. It would be interesting to
have her do a test weight with the M scale. I have evaluated women with the
same symptoms and found that some mothers may have up to 9 ounces in one
breast. This means the baby has to take in big amounts in order to get to
the hind-milk. After a careful evaluation to determine if this is the cause
of the colic. Simply pumping off some milk prior to feeds will usually solve
the problem.
