Wow!  This is me!  When I was about 15 years old, my breast swelled and
became very hard, hot and sore.  Went to doctor who extracted lots of pus
looking fluid.  It even squirted out my nipple!  My mother and I don't
remember what we were told about this, if anything. It never happened again.
I've had 3 children who I breastfed extensively!  Hope this is some comfort.

BTW, I'm coming out of lurking to comment on this issue.  I'm enjoying all
the posts!
