Yes, that is likely what happened, especially seeing that the digest title
was still in the subject line.  Which brings me to another general
suggestion/request.  If you get digests (rather than individual posts) and
are replying to something in a digest, please change the subject line to
reflect the subject line of the post to which you are replying, otherwise it
just says "Lactnet digest" with the date and makes searching the archives
more challenging.
