Nikki,
I know you and love you. Sounds like you were a convenient target for this
lady. This does happen and it does hurt. I think you handled this in a very
professional manner with great dignity and class. Shame on that woman. Not
much prolactin in her, I think.
       Anyway, I had to share this. Had a similar situation about two years
ago with a referral patient I saw as a courtesy to LLL.   We worked hard,
pumping, using an SNS and eventually she gave up. (after about four months.)
Luckily I did not get shot through the heart by her - it was her doc. She had
a c/s so he "knew" she did not have retained fragments. But he had to eat his
words when she DID come down with an infection, several months later, and had
a D&C. She just had her second child recently and called me to report she had
plenty of milk this time. Different doctor delivered her. End of story.
