Okay, so for the first couple weeks, he gained an ounce a day.  Now 
from week 2 to week 3 he has gained exactly nothing.  8 soaked diapers 
daily, three big poops with several more skid marks, but no weight 
gain.

Mom feeds constantly, does breast compression (says it's the only thing 
that keeps him swallowing).  She thinks she is not letting down and he 
can't get milk unless she compresses.  An LC nurse evaluated his suck 
and says it is quite strong.  Mom confirms that he isn't tiring out and 
falling asleep, but that his looooong nursing sessions seem to be using 
up more calories than he gets.  She feels that she is making 16oz per 
day, though she can't get anything pumping.

I am suggested domperidone and metformin and a lactaid for 
supplementing.  She is already doing everything I can find in the BAB 
or on the web as far as good management.  Fenugreek didn't help much 
with the last child.

Please help!
