I work at this Milk Bank. We receive and ship milk packed in crushed
newspaper in regular coolers. Ship via FedEx overnight . We have had milk get
delayed and was in transit for over 2 days and still arrive frozen. She can
express and freeze in containers or in bags, put those in a large zip lock
bag, and nest in the center of crushed newspapers.
During the Depression, people used newspaper for insulating material for
their homes and in cities homeless persons use newspapers for insulation to
wrap themselves in to keep warm in the the winter.
