Mary Beth,
How long has your colleague been on tegretol? If she is taking it for
seizures and has never had an MRI, this might be the time to have one.
A prolactinoma or other pituitary tumor may be responsible for both the
seizures and the galactorrhea.
In general, spontaneous (as opposed to deliberately expressed)
discharges from the nipples of non-breastfeeding women should be
medically scrutinized.
