I need some quick info if anyone has it. I have a mother who is due to deliver imminently who just called and asked about a medication she's on for bipolar disorder. I researched the archives but this particular med isn't listed and mom says that she was told that it's so new, not much is known
about side effects. I'm hoping Tom Hale might perhaps tune in for this inquiry. The medication name is Geodon, and it sounds like the active ingredient is Ziprasidone. Does anyone know anything about this drug and possible implications for breastfeeding? Please email privately as well as to the
list, as mom is 4 cm already and set to go anytime. Thanks,
Marsha
