First - my heart goes out to you. What a bunch of slaps in the face!
Second -- See if you can get a copy of your MPinc scores. It will tell you
where you are on many of these practices, compared to other hospitals in
your state and across the US. And it gives QI a chance to see where you
should be changing....One of the statistics that's tracked is formula given
before discharge. (Our managers have often used these indicators as ways to
do QI projects.)

Your manager, the head of OB, the head of "the nursery", and your CEO all
got copies when this was sent out last summer.
