Crystal I understand your distress and hope that you have felt entirely
reassured by others that the blessed thistle and fenugreek could in
absolutely no way have harmed this mother.  I would guess that it actually
gave her solace in that other circumstances were making breastfeeding
difficult for her, but this was helping her with her baby.
My heart goes out especially to her other caregivers and family.... risk of
pulmonary embolus is increased by caesarean section.  The decision to
perform a caesarean section is not one that can be taken lightly and they
must all be feeling pretty awful too.
