 Hi Kathy & Kathryne,

Thank you for your reply, no she hasn't had breast implants, I will talk to
her about having the milk cultured, she did say she had some mucousy milk
come out during pumping. I'll check the BAB, and talk to her about lecithin
 thanks again.

Sheena

Subject: gel in breasts

What does she mean when she says she has gel in her breasts? If she means
she is pumping out thick, mucousy looking milk, this is most likely a breast
infection. I would suggest having the thick milk cultured. If her milk makes
lumps after she pumps it, same thing. If she means she gets a lot of plugged
ducts, the Breastfeeding Answer Book has good information. One suggestion is
trying the lecithin and I have had moms tell me that really works to cure
constant plugged ducts.
