The hospital I work at in is thinking about adding home visits by the IBCLC
for families once they are discharged. I was wondering if anyone that
works in the hospitals in the U.S. has a program in place already that the
IBCLC will do a home visit to follow up only on the children that are
having problems breastfeeding. This is a Children's Hospital and they are
not wanting to refer to a visiting nurse program, but rather do it through
the hospital.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. You can either respond on
the list or to me personally at [log in to unmask]

Thank you,
Denise
