I have just returned from several extensive deployments and have signed
back onto Lactnet after being away several months.
I noticed the bee sting comments. Having just deployed to Fort A.P.
Hill for the National Boy Scout Jamboree, I thought I would give you the
Boy Scouts' remedy for bee stings which is used at the Jamborees.
Take a teaspoonful of Meat Tenderizer, UNseasoned. Add a little water
to make a paste, and apply to the bee sting. The tenderizer ingredients
break down the protein in the bee venom.
