Kathy's story of the young woman and the strangler is deeply creepy.   But I
think that case is different from the LC cases.

For one thing (though this is itself one of the creepy things about it) it's
basically in the sexual touching category, and particularly about when we
allow men to touch women in social contact.  Here, on the other hand, we are
talking (for the most part) about women touching women, and also about
professional touching.

Gender makes it different, consent forms make it different, and the more
stringent obligations of hcp's to be responsible to their patients/clients'
well being make it different.

 Not to mention that having your adversary's attorney browbeat you is not the
same as losing a lawsuit -- lawyers get paid to browbeat people when they
think it will help their client's case, but judges don't.

[Free parenthetical advice:  if you live in the USA and ever get called to
speak in any kind of legal proceeding whatsoever, talk to a lawyer whether you
think you need one or not -- worth the money.]
