I don't know if it directly relates to possible near death experience, but
I remember an article several years back that studied the background of
people who committed suicide and it showed that the nature of the birth
experience seemed to corelate with the type of birth.  (Not that the type
of birth "caused" the suicide, but that in those who did cimmit suicide the
method chosen had a link with the nature of their birth experience.)  Can
anyone remeber where the article came from?  Which types of births linked
with which method of suicide?
The point is, there seems to be something about the birth experience that
stays with us for the rest of our lives.  It makes one wonder what other
choices in our lives may be impacted by our births.
